**  Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund (ILHAF) program.

GRANTs of up to $60,000 maximum per household property address for Not only Past-due mortgage payments, may include Property Taxes & Insurance or any Association Fees related.  

NOTE Application Deadline:  before Midnight (11:59pm) on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, the State will NO Longer accept any Applications.  

To see if you may qualify for ILHAF,  you must meet their eligibility criteria of:

Be past due on one or more of mortgage Loan payments,  Property taxes,  property insurance and/or  any HmOA/condo Association fee payments.

Have a household Income at  or  Below 150 percent of  Area Median Income.

Own and Occupy a home in Illinois as a primary residence.

Experienced financial hardship after  Jan. 21, 2020,  due to the COVID-19 Pandemic (including a hardship that began before Jan. 21, 2020, but continued after that date).

Any application submitted prior to closing will be reviewed to determine eligibility and a submitted Application is NOT a guarantee of approval.  For those eligible for the Illinois homeowners can visit and apply online at:   www.illinoishousinghelp.org. 

**  Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Utility Asstistance:  with Electric or Gas bills available soon,  or visit local community organization for inquires.   

For eligibility criteria: Disabled persons,  Seniors,  low-income households or with children under six yrs. 

Filing of Applications begins next month from  Oct. 2,  through  Aug 15,  2024.
